Order your EFF'ING AWESOME suit or trunks for your next competition, today!
Effie can provide all cleaning and repair services for a $25-$45 service fee, depending on required repairs. Contact Effie for cleaning and repair inquiries.
TWO-PIECE SUITS: If any stones come off or loose prior to or during washing, save them for repair. Either carefully use E-6000 glue with a toothpick to place small dots of glue where the stones need to be placed, or contact Effie for repair services.
TRUNKS: DO NOT put your trunks in a washing machine. Hand wash only, as below.
Keep your suit or trunks clean from the damage of sweat, spray tan products, and water-soluble glue, if used, and ready for your next competition.
Use a mild detergent, such as Woolite.
Use a large bowl or closed sink basin - ideal for bedazzled two-piece suits so as not to lose any rhinestones, should any come off during washing.
Gently palpate the suit in your hands in the soapy water.
Once you notice the majority of by-products or spray tan and sweat are released from the suit, begin rinsing with cool water until the water runs clear.
Hang or lay flat to dry. Store dry.
For two-piece suits, once dry, use a microfiber cloth to gently buff the rhinestones to restore their shine prior to your next event!
Water-soluble glue, such as It Just Stays or BikiniBite, will easily wash off skin and suit or trunks. Effie has It Just Stays in a roll-on applicator as an add-on purchase with your order.
Elmers glue, often found backstage, can secure your suit, but it won't fix gapping from a suit that is not fitted to your body shape. It WILL cause permanent damage to your suit, as shown below, and CAN damage your skin. See examples of such damage in the images below.

What colors stand out to you or catch your eye the most? What draws your attention and excites you when you see it?
Who has similar hair coloring or body features as you? What works for them, or is NOT working for them? Don't just look at colors, but also patterns and connectors as well.
What aren't you seeing that could add a unique flare to your suit design? The process of elimination works well here too.
Do you like having an Adjustable Triangle Top, or a SOFT or STIFF molded cup design? If you've competed before, what style fits you best, or what are you wanting to try now? Inserts to provide structure and shape will be included in your order.
Examine the top's center connector designs. How much cleavage do you want or need? How much spacing is ideal for your breast/chest shape?
Natural breast tissue often reduces during prep and can result in "diet breasts" with smaller than normal breast size and the potential for loose skin. Silicone inserts can aide in filling out the chest, and can be added to any shape of top: adjustable triangle, soft or stiff molded cup.
Augmented breasts may experience some body fat reduction, but most often experience minimal to no change in size.
Rhinestones, bedazzlements & connectors! In your research, what inspired you? What colors or pattern designs spoke to you? We'll build from there.
Think about how that will all go together with competition bling/jewelry you plan to or hope to wear.
Are you competing in bikini, figure/physique, bodybuilding, classic physique? Get informed on fitting requirements or styles not allowed in your federation or specific event. Search for suit styles from photos or videos of recently passed events.
Consult with your coach, if you have one. Contact your event promoters or federation officials for clarification or approval, as needed.
Make sure to order the ideal style and shape of coverage (more or less revealing) that is complementary to your body shape and helps boost your confidence.
Cup style, suit style, and choice of connectors also factor in. For example, a two-piece competition suit with an adjustable triangle top offers these variables toward the final cost:

$475 | ECONOMY Design (low-density, specialty stones & design)
$475 | ECONOMY Full (some fabric reveal, ~85% coverage, organic pattern)
$575 | ECONOMY Ultra (full coverage, 8-10 stone colors and sizes, organic pattern)
$650 | ECONOMY Custom (full coverage, custom design pattern)
$525 | MIXED Simple Elegance (low-density, scattered gem coverage)
$625 | MIXED Design (low-density, specialty stones & design)

$900 | HIGH-END Full (some fabric reveal, ~85% coverage, organic pattern)
$1,000 | HIGH-END Ultra (full coverage, 8-10 stone colors and sizes, organic pattern)

Prices are subject to change based on market fluctuations and material availability.
UNDERSTANDING RHINESTONE QUALITY:
ECONOMY = high-quality glass cut rhinestones
MIXED = economy + premium high-quality glass + one or two Preciosa and/or limited-stock Swarovski crystals
HIGH-END = 100% Preciosa, or similar quality, rhinestones
Swarovski no longer offers retail marketplace rhinestone acquisitions, unless I buy in large quantity with a Swarovski purchasing license. Since my small business does not qualify for such quantities I acquire Czech-made premium Preciosa crystals which offer the same luxurious quality, if not better.
